Art is the only way to run away without leaving home.

I’m a mixed media artist working in acrylics and photo inks, blending painting with photography and design to create layered, playful, and nostalgic work rooted in image and story. My practice spans both public and private spaces, from gallery exhibitions to murals, scenic backdrops, and large-scale installations.
Based in Charleston, South Carolina, I create new and commissioned work informed by collaboration, lived experience, and curiosity. I’m especially interested in projects that live beyond the studio and engage with shared spaces.
Hi, I’m Jaye.
Some of my most meaningful work has happened in places where people gather. I’ve spent years creating art for theaters, education and arts organizations, and nonprofits, from scenic backdrops and murals to collaborative, large-scale projects designed to be experienced together.
Whether working with arts communities in the Midwest or nonprofit and cultural organizations across the Southeast, I’m especially drawn to projects that give something back. Making spaces more beautiful, supporting creative ecosystems, and contributing to causes I care about, like education, the arts, and animal welfare, continues to be a guiding thread in my work.
